HYPNOTHERAPY FOR SMOKING

I am currently offering my clients the choice of in-person or on-line sessions.

While most people prefer face-to-face sessions, hypnotherapy can be effectively provided via Zoom if you would prefer this mode of delivery.

Hypnotherapy is arguably the most powerful psychological tool available to us. Very few aspects of our lives can't be changed via hypnosis - I use hypnosis as a tool for self empowerment and change. Smokers often use cigarettes as self-medication for anxiety but consider the side effects. Over the long term the hundreds of  harmful chemicals in cigarettes can take their toll on the body, not to mention the wallet! It is estimated that each cigarette can reduce your lifespan by 2 minutes, not to mention the reduced quality of life due to chronic lung and heart problems.

 

So why do people continue to smoke?

The answer if often FEAR

  • fear of being irritable, angry, moody and  stressed
  • fear of putting on weight

  • fear of the cravings, pain or discomfort

  • fear of not being able to cope with life's challenges without a cigarette

  • fear of not being able to relax

  • fear of losing companionship, security and rituals.

 

The problem for most people is often that you cannot see your self being smoke free. Hypnotherapy can create smoke-free pictures that the subconscious accepts and acts upon. Hypnosis makes it easier to quit the smoking habit because hypnosis helps take away the cravings,  the feelings of wanting a cigarette, the feeling of needing a cigarette.

 

With hypnosis, that feeling of being deprived of a cigarette fades very quickly, it removes the desire and the need to smoke.
