Why not find a cosy spot - lying or sitting comfortably where you can spend 5 minutes of relaxation?
When you have, I'd like you to just allow your eyes to close,
take a deep breath in through your nose .......
then slowly exhale through your mouth.
Think of your favourite colour as you breathe in through your nose .....
and out through your mouth.
As you breathe in through your nose think of your favourite sound ......
and allow that out breathe to just relax your body.
And breathe in through your nose and think of your favourite texture .....
and as you breathe out feel your body relaxing even more.
And now I want you to open your mouth,
and take a deep breath in right down to your belly,
and then take a further top up short breath into your chest,
then relax and let that breath go through your mouth.
Once again take that deep breath in through your mouth, right down into your belly,
then top it up with that extra short chest breath,
then let your breath go.
And keep that breathing going.
Deep breath into your belly.
Short breath into your lungs.
Then let your breath go.
Keep it going.
Focus on your breathing, that deep belly breath in,
that short breath into the chest,
and let yourself exhale.
Feel that relaxation spread through your body.
And know how amazing you are, and know it's ok to feel that way.
And feeling perfectly safe and just enjoy the silence and peace, there's nothing to do....
And then, in your own time, your breathing can return to normal and you can come back to full alertness.
